SiriusXM announces an exclusive Lady Gaga pop-up channel, Gaga Radio, in celebration of her highly anticipated seventh studio album, MAYHEM.
Gaga Radio appears on SiriusXM channel 15 from March 4 to 17 and on the SiriusXM app from March 4 to April 2. The station features music handpicked by Lady Gaga herself, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes stories from the making of MAYHEM.
Listeners can hear new tracks from the upcoming album along with the songs across genres and decades that influenced and inspired her. Artists heard on the channel include David Bowie, Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, Ella Fitzgerald, Prince, Madonna, Elton John, Queen, Tony Bennett, and many more.
“Step inside the world of MAYHEM with Lady Gaga on this exclusive pop-up channel, including artists that inspired her career and her own timeless hits,” says SiriusXM on Instagram.
“Gaga Radio will definitely be a strong insight into what made me who I am as an artist,” said Gaga. “It’s a time to be soulful. You could enjoy some imaginative, interesting, brave, bold artists.”
Her upcoming album, MAYHEM, will be released on March 7, with 14 songs, including her latest hits, “Abracadabra,” “Disease,” and her Grammy-winning track with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile.”
“I think that I am feeling really confident as a musician and as a songwriter and a producer, as an artist,” she recently told Good Morning America. “I know that might sound silly, but it actually took me two decades to become the boss in a way,” she explained.
“Being a woman in music, I was almost always the only woman in the room all the time, and I had to really, really work hard to maintain my sense of stability and my purpose,” she added. “And I always stuck to my guns when it came to my music and my artistry, but it was a real challenge and I made it through that mayhem.”
SiriusXM’s Gaga Radio will be available to subscribers on channel 15 from now until March 17, and through the SiriusXM app through April 2.
