Report

A crash on I-44 just west of Springfield left one driver with minor injuries early Friday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol said the wreck happened at 6:28 a.m. on September 25, 2026, about half a mile west of Springfield in Greene County. A 2018 Ford Edge traveling southbound was the only vehicle involved, per the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, the patrol reported. No other injuries or fatalities were noted in connection with the crash.
