A 26-year-old Sikeston man suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash on MO-77 just north of Oran, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash happened at approximately 6:58 a.m. on October 16, 2026, about half a mile north of Oran in Scott County, the Patrol reported. A 2009 Chevrolet Impala was traveling northbound at the time of the incident, according to the report.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.

The driver was transported for medical treatment following the crash, the Patrol said. No other vehicles were reported involved, and no fatalities resulted from the incident.
