DeKalb County police reported that a woman named Shirley Revere was killed on Monday while she was on her way to work. The fatal accident took place near Covington Highway where an unidentified car hit Revere’s car as she drove to work.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash – they are yet to confirm whether drugs and alcohol played a part in the incident. Reckless driving is suspected on the part of the unidentified driver as the area is known to be prone to speeding vehicles.
