According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Odessa on Tuesday. The crash happened in the area of 42nd Street and Governor Preston Smith Road at around 7:45 p.m.
According to the investigators, a Nissan Altima, a Green Kawasaki Ninja, a Honda CB1000, and Kawasaki Ninja were involved in the collision. The Nissan driver failed to yield the right of way, crashed into the Kawasaki, and then crashed into the Honda.
The driver of the Green Kawasaki was identified as Severo Muniz who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. It is not known if there were other people injured in the accident.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
