Several people hospitalized after a solo-vehicle crash on westbound side of I-20 in Van area (Van, TX)

On Sunday afternoon, multiple people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Van.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place on the westbound side of Interstate 20 near Mile Marker 537 at approximately 1:44 p.m. The early reports showed that the involved vehicle, a black passenger car, possibly hit a concrete barrier.

On arrival, paramedics took the occupants of the car to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. Initially, the westbound side of Interstate 20 in that area was fully closed, but one lane was back open later. Multiple agencies responded to the scene. All units were clear at 2:43 p.m., officials mentioned. No other details are available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
