On Monday afternoon, authorities reported a motor vehicle crash on Poydras Street following a chase. The crash happened at Poydras and South Galvez streets.
New Orleans and Jefferson Parish Authorities were involved in the chase.
According to Capt. Jason Rivarde of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, the pursuit started in Harvey and ended in New Orleans. Following the crash, several deputies were injured.
It is unclear how many deputies were involved and the extent of their injuries.
