Semi vs. motorcycle collision killed 28-year-old Jacob Bullimore in Lakewood (Lakewood, WA)

28-year-old Jacob Bullimore, an Oak Harbor man lost his life after speeding on a motorcycle and crashing into a semi on I-5 at New York Avenue in Lakewood at around 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Authorities said that Bullimore was driving a motorcycle, speeding and weaving in and out of lanes along with another motorcycle that was doing the same. He lost control and hit a semi, causing the motorcycle to crash. Bullimore breathed his last at Madigan Army Medical Center while semi driver and the other motorcyclist did not suffer any injuries. Officials confirmed that drugs and alcohol played a factor in the accident.

The authorities continue to investigate the cause that led to the incident.
