A 37-year-old Sedalia woman died Friday morning after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Old 65 Avenue and Keuper Road in Benton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 8:06 a.m. and involved a 2013 Cadillac SRX traveling southbound and a 2013 Honda Civic traveling westbound, the Patrol's preliminary online crash report states. The Sedalia woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Patrol.
A 19-year-old woman from Green Ridge, MO, who was driving the other vehicle, sustained serious injuries in the crash, the Patrol reported. Her current condition has not been released.
Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and is investigating the crash, which has been logged under incident number 260449044.
