A 43-year-old Sedalia man died following a single-vehicle crash on Leisure Drive in Benton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on Aug. 22, 2026, at approximately 6:05 p.m. near 11091 Leisure Dr., the Patrol's online crash report states. The driver was operating a 2024 Yamaha Wolverine southbound at the time of the crash, according to the same preliminary report.
The driver sustained fatal injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. No other vehicles were reported involved in the crash.
Troop A responded to the scene, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation into the incident, identified in Patrol records as crash 260356441.
