A 32-year-old Rolla man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 44 in Phelps County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.

The crash occurred at 10:22 p.m. on August 2, 2026, in the eastbound lanes of I-44 near mile marker 178.8, the report states. A 2016 Dodge Journey and a 2019 Kenworth tractor, both traveling eastbound, were involved in the collision, according to the Patrol.
