Power supply was disrupted after a crash Monday night in Fallbrook.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place on Old Stage Lane. The early reports showed that about 1,000 customers in the area were left without power after a vehicle slammed into a power pole. The incident was reported at around 10 p.m. SDG&E mentioned that the impacted customers could have to wait as late as 1:30 a.m. until power was restored.
As of 5:30 a.m., the number of customers without power reduced to 90, with restoration expected to be completed by 11 a.m. A car set fire following the collision. It is unknown if anyone was injured following the crash. Motorists were advised to avoid the area while crews worked at the scene. No other details are available.
An investigation is underway.
