Power disrupted after a vehicle slammed into a pole in Concord (Concord, CA)

Power was disrupted after a vehicle slammed into a pole early Monday morning in Concord.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at the intersection of Monument Blvd and Virginia Lane. The early reports showed that a truck struck a power pole, causing power to go out in the area.

It is unknown if anyone was injured as a result of the collision. PG&E was requested to restore power, and officials said to expect delays in the morning commute. A stretch of Monument Blvd was closed down in both directions while crews worked at the scene. No other details are available.

The incident remains under review.
