Police looking for information after a hit-and-run driver struck a bicyclist in Macomb County (Macomb County, MI)

Michigan State Police are seeking information about the hit-and-run driver who struck a bicyclist on Wednesday night in Macomb County.

The preliminary reports showed that the cyclist was on 34 Mile Road just east of M-53 when a vehicle hit the male bicyclist at around 8:40 p.m. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The injured man could not provide a description of the vehicle that struck him as he did not remember the crash. Police have sought public’s assistance in identifying and locating the hit-and-run driver.

The incident remains under active review.
