Pedestrian Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

Officials responded to a hit-and-run crash that claimed a life. The crash happened near Grant and Stone in Tucson late Friday, September 23. 

According to the Tucson Police Department, the pedestrian tried to cross Stone while not on a crosswalk. The name of the pedestrian is being withheld. 

The pedestrian was hit by a black 2015-18 Mercedes C Class. The driver fled the scene following the crash. 

Additional information regarding the crash is currently unavailable. An investigation into the pedestrian crash is under review.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
