A pedestrian suffered moderate injuries in a crash involving two commercial trucks on Interstate 44 in Laclede County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The patrol reported that the crash occurred at 7:45 a.m. on August 22, 2026, on westbound I-44 near mile marker 141. A 2023 Freightliner Cascadia was traveling westbound when it was involved in a collision with a 2026 Volvo tractor trailer that was parked at the scene, the report states.
