Pedestrian dead after a hit-and-run collision on Sepulveda Pass (Los Angeles, CA)

One person was killed after being struck by a hit-and-run motorist Thursday on Sepulveda Pass.

As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run accident took place at around 4:16 a.m. at the interchange of the southbound 101 Freeway and the northbound 405 Freeway. The early reports showed that the involved driver left the scene after hitting the pedestrian.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No details are available regarding the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle. No other information is available.
