Pedestrian Critically Injured In A Hit-Run-Accident In Lubbock (Lubbock, TX)

According to the Lubbock Police Department, a hit-and-run accident was reported. 

The officials reported that a pedestrian was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. 

The officials reported that the crash happened in the 5500 block of Slide Road. 

The victim is currently being treated at the University Medical Center. 

The police did not reveal the identity of the victim. 

The suspect fled the scene after failing to render aid. 

No additional information regarding the crash was provided by the officials. 

The Lubbock Police are investigating to find the suspect and confirm whether drugs, alcohol or reckless driving was the factor involved in the crash.
