Pedestrian coped slight injuries after hanging on to truck bumper (Reno, NV)

Reno Police say a pedestrian hung on to a truck’s bumper for about 200 feet to avoid serious injuries following a hit on Thursday.

A pedestrian sustained minimal injuries after a truck struck him on Wrondel Way.

The pedestrian was passing through Wrondel Way just north of Grove Street in the crosswalk when a pickup truck crashed into him.

Police say the man grabbed on to the bumper to prevent him from going under the truck. The pedestrian had only minor injuries.

Police charged the truck driver for failure to yield.
