A woman was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after a single-vehicle rollover crash on South Scott Boulevard near Christian Fellowship Road in Columbia, according to the Columbia Fire Department.

Capt. Dwayne Cummins of the Columbia Fire Department said the crash left the woman trapped inside her vehicle. Crews worked to free her before she was transported to a hospital, the department said.

Both lanes of South Scott Boulevard leading to Christian Fellowship Road were temporarily closed while emergency crews responded to the scene, according to the Columbia Fire Department. The closure allowed firefighters and other responders to extricate the woman and clear the crash site.

One vehicle was involved in the incident, which resulted in one reported injury and no fatalities. The extent of the woman's injuries was not disclosed.

This report will be updated as officials release more information.
