A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 54 at J.R. Hunt Dr. in Camden County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 5:10 p.m. Sunday, the Patrol said. The rider was traveling east on U.S. 54 on a 2013 Triumph Rocket 3 when they lost control of the motorcycle, according to the Patrol.

One person was reported to have sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. No other vehicles were involved, and no fatalities were reported.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is the agency handling the investigation into the crash.
