On Tuesday afternoon, one person received serious injuries after a high-speed crash on Denison highway.
The preliminary reports said that a man driving a stolen motorcycle was going at 100 mph near the Spur 503 exit on U.S. 75. The northbound motorcycle then veered off the road and crashed at about 3:30 p.m. after witnesses reported that the driver was weaving in and out of traffic. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.
The reports also mentioned that the motorcycle had been stolen in Collin County. Police stated that the driver had not been the subject of a law enforcement pursuit. U.S. 75 was closed down for about 90 minutes during investigation. No other details are available.
The crash remains under review.
