One person killed following a motorcycle accident in Crosby (Crosby, TX)

One person was killed after a motorcycle veered off a road and struck a sign in Crosby on early Wednesday, according to authorities.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle accident took place at about 3:20 am in the 17100 block of FM 2100. The early reports indicated that a man was riding a Harley-Davidson southbound in an area that is under construction with one lane going both directions.

For unknown reasons, the motorcycle went off the road to the west and collided with a sign. Due to the impact, the motorcycle rider got separated from the vehicle and came to a rest in a ditch. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the officials. No other details are available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
