One person killed after getting struck by a vehicle in downtown Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA)

One person was killed after getting hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in downtown Los Angeles.

As per the initial information, the fatal pedestrian accident was reported at 9:48 p.m. in the 300 block of South Figueroa Street. The crash does not seem to be a hit-and-run. A white or gray small-to-midsize SUV was seen near the scene with its blinkers on and apparent damage to the car’s hood.

The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No further details are available.

The incident remains under review.
