One person killed after a single-vehicle crash in Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA)

One person was killed following a traffic collision on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Moreno Valley.

Officers from the CHP actively responded to the the westbound 60 Freeway and Nason Street at 10:59 p.m. Thursday after getting reports of a solo-vehicle crash. The victim was declared dead at the scene by the officials.

All lanes of the freeway were shut down for several hours while crews worked at the scene. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.

The crash remains under investigation.
