One person injured following an auto-pedestrian crash in Santa Clarita (Santa Clarita, CA)

One person suffered injuries after getting hit by a vehicle Monday in Santa Clarita.

As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the area of Seco Canyon Road and Garzota Drive in Saugus after getting reports of an auto-pedestrian crash at about 3:30 p.m. Monday. On arrival, the responders took the victim to a hospital for treatment.

The extent of injuries sustained by the victim remains unknown at this time. The identity of the injured pedestrian has not been released. It is also unclear if the involved driver remained at the scene or not after the collision. No other details are available.

The incident remains under review.
