One person received injuries after a traffic accident early Friday morning in Donelson.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at 4:12 a.m. at 585 Stewarts Ferry Pike. The early reports indicated that a car rolled into a construction hole on Stewarts Ferry Pike. The male driver was reportedly taken to the hospital, but police said he is expected to survive.
It is still unknown how the car went off the roadway. The identity of the injured victim has not been released at this time. Authorities have not provided any other details regarding the accident.
An investigation is underway.
