One person hurt after a multi-vehicle wreck in Algoma Township (Algoma Township, MI)

One person was hurt after a multi-vehicle wreck Thursday afternoon in Algoma Township.

As per the initial information, the four-vehicle pile-up took place at 14 Mile Road and Northland Drive after 5:30 p.m. The early reports showed that a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer was heading east on 14 Mile Road when the driver went through the red light and collided with two other vehicles.

Due to the impact, one of the vehicles was sent into the path of another vehicle that was going south. One of the drivers was reportedly transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. The identity of the injured victim has not been released at this time. No other details are available.

The wreck remains under review.
