One person incurred minor injuries after a traffic accident that slowed down traffic for a short while in Wichita Falls.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place on Loop 11 and Northwest Fwy. The preliminary reports showed that a motorcyclist was heading down Northwest Fwy. when he glanced backward to change lanes.
Just then, he clipped the red truck in front of him, throwing him from his bike and into the road. The motorcycle also fell, sliding underneath another gray truck that was going down the road with a trailer attached.
The motorcyclist only sustained minor injuries as he was wearing full protective gear when he fell from the motorbike. Traffic in the area was slowed briefly while crews worked at the scene. The road is expected to be opened again within the next 30 minutes. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
