One person hospitalized after a vehicle plunges nearly 200 feet off bridge north of Santa Clarita (Santa Clarita, CA)

One person was taken to the hospital after their vehicle jumped nearly 200 feet off a bridge north of Santa Clarita on Thursday morning.

First responders got news of a collision at about 8:20 a.m. on the 11500 block of Soledad Canyon Road in Agua Dulce, said Marvin Lim, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. On arrival, authorities mentioned that a vehicle went off the side of a bridge going around 200 feet down. Emergency crews transported one victim to a hospital. The current condition of the victim is unknown at this time.

An investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
