One person received injuries and another was detained after a suspected DUI crash Thursday near San Antonio Military Medical Center.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday on the Interstate 35 South access road near Binz-Engleman Road on the Northeast Side. The early reports showed that the motorist exited the highway, went down and embankment and crashed into a ditch.
On arrival, first responders took the passenger to the hospital in stable condition, while the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. No other details have been provided by the officials.
The crash remains under review.
