One person hospitalized after a multi-vehicle pile-up in Claremont (Claremont, CA)

One person was injured after a wreck in Claremont.

As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle pile-up involving three big rigs and one other vehicle was first reported at around 3:50 a.m. on westbound 210 near the Towne Avenue off-ramp. According to the authorities, at least one of the big rigs was believed to have rolled over during the crash.

At least one injury was reported; that person was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Officials announced a Sigalert at 4:22 a.m. for at least 90 minutes. That Sigalert was extended to last for an additional three hours due to the extensive amount of cleanup at the scene.

The traffic in the area was impacted due to the collision. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. No other details are available.

An investigation is underway.
