The Memphis Police Department reported a hit-and-run vehicle crash in Memphis on New Year’s Eve.
The accident took place at Lake Pak drive and Winchester Road at around 10:30 p.m, according to the Memphis PD.
Police stated that the woman was struck by a car that was traveling east on Winchester Road. Before the officials arrived, the driver left the scene.
According to police, the car appears to have significant front-end damage.
It is uncertain what caused the crash and how it unfolded.
Whether drugs or alcohol were involved in a crash is yet to be found.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
