On Monday morning, one person was killed and two others received injuries following a multi-vehicle pile-up on Southbound I-35 in Round Rock.
As per the initial information, the wreck took place at about 4:30 a.m. in which three vehicles were involved, including an 18-wheeler. The early report showed that one person was declared dead at the scene while two others suffered injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unknown at this time. Southbound I-35 at North SH 45/Louis Henna Boulevard and at Hesters Crossing were blocked for a few hours, but have since reopened. Traffic was being rerouted to the frontage road at Exit 251 Hester Crossing. No other details are available.
