One person dead after an auto-pedestrian collision in North Austin (Austin, TX)

One person was killed following a crash in North Austin.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 12:48 a.m. in the 7400 block of Chevy Chase. Paramedics responded to the scene and, on arrival, performed CPR on the victim. Despite the live-saving efforts, the victim died at the scene.

The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details have been made available.

The incident remains under review.
