One person dead after an auto-pedestrian collision in Fremont (Fremont, CA)

One person was killed after a crash Thursday afternoon in Fremont.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place at about 3:30 p.m. in the 37200 block of Fremont Boulevard between Peralta Boulevard and Bonde Way in the city’s Centerville District. Officials confirmed that the incident led to a fatality.

The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No further information is available.

An investigation is ongoing.
