One person was killed after a fiery accident early Friday morning in Corona.
As per the initial information, the fatal crash involving a semi-truck took place on the 15 Freeway. The authorities arrived at the scene at about 2:40 a.m., where they saw several Good Samaritans trying to put out a fire that had burst forth from the crashed semi-truck.
At least one person died in the crash. It is unknown if any other vehicles were involved in the wreck. A Sig alert was announced for all southbound lanes of the 15 Freeway in Corona, just north of Temescal Canyon Road. The incident caused traffic delays the in the area while crews worked at the scene. No other details are available.
The crash remains under investigation.
