A 41-year-old St. Louis woman died following a two-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 64 west of Interstate 270 in St. Louis County, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 6:56 p.m. on July 14, 2026, and was investigated by Troop C, the Patrol said. According to the report, a 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan was traveling eastbound when it was involved in a collision with a 2004 Dodge Ram traveling westbound.

The Patrol reported that the female driver of one vehicle, a 41-year-old from St. Louis, sustained fatal injuries. A 24-year-old male driver from Chesterfield, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the report states.
