A crash on Interstate 44 near Duenweg left one driver with minor injuries early Monday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred around 6:50 a.m. about half a mile east of Duenweg in Jasper County, the patrol's online crash report states. Two vehicles were involved: a 2023 Kenworth T-680 semi-truck and a 2013 Ford F150 pickup, both traveling westbound on I-44 at the time, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Rain was falling at the time, according to weather data.

The driver of the pickup, a 43-year-old man from Carthage, sustained minor injuries in the crash, the patrol reported. He was transported to a medical facility for treatment. No other injuries were reported, and the truck driver was not reported injured.
