A crash on MO-96 east of Avilla left one person with moderate injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The collision happened at 11:45 a.m. on July 21, 2026, about 0.4 miles east of County Road 20 and roughly 2.5 miles east of Avilla in Jasper County, the patrol reported.
