A crash involving four vehicles on westbound Big Bend Road at Ries Road left one man dead and two other drivers injured, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The patrol said the collision occurred shortly after midday on Sept. 22, 2026, and involved a 2007 Toyota Tacoma traveling eastbound along with a 2017 Toyota Camry, a 2003 BMW Z4 and a 2021 Nissan Kicks, all heading westbound.
A 38-year-old man died from injuries sustained in the crash and was transported for medical treatment, the patrol reported. A 71-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and was also taken for treatment, while a 78-year-old man sustained minor injuries and received medical care as well.
Troop C of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene in St. Louis County and is handling the investigation into the crash.
