A crash on southbound Lucas Road at Hunt Road left one person dead and three others injured, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.

The patrol said the wreck happened around 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 18 north of Maywood Avenue and involved a 2026 Jeep Compass traveling south with four occupants aboard. One occupant was pronounced dead at the scene, the patrol reported.

The remaining three occupants were transported for medical treatment, with two sustaining moderate injuries and one sustaining serious injuries, according to the crash report. No other vehicles were reported involved in the crash.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop C responded to the scene and is handling the investigation, which is documented under crash report number 260349210.
