A crash involving four vehicles on NW Old Highway 36 near NW Center Rd, about five miles east of Cameron, left one man dead and another seriously injured, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to the report, the vehicles involved included a 2017 Hyundai Elantra traveling eastbound, along with three westbound vehicles: a 1973 Chevrolet Nova, a 1931 Chevrolet 5 Window Coupe, and a 1936 Chevrolet 2 Door Sedan.

A 71-year-old man from Cameron, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained fatal injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the patrol reported. A 65-year-old male occupant, also from Cameron, suffered serious injuries and was likewise taken for medical care.
