Officials identified 77-year-old Wayne Hart who died following a motorcycle crash in Norwalk (Norwalk, CA)

Authorities identified 77-year-old Wayne Hart as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle accident Monday night in Norwalk.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash was reported on Firestone Boulevard, west of Studebaker Road at 6:22 p.m. The preliminary reports showed that the Norwalk man was riding a motorcycle east on Firestone and took a U-turn when a car heading west struck his motorbike.

The woman driving the car remained unharmed in the accident. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision. No further details have been provided by the officials.

An investigation is continuing.
