Authorities identified 64-year-old Joe Franklin as the pedestrian who died of injuries he suffered after getting struck by a vehicle eight days ago in Nashville.
The fatal pedestrian accident took place at East Trinity Lane on November 18. According to the investigation reports, a man lying in the middle of East Trinity Lane on got hit by a car. The man died of his injuries on Wednesday.
Officers are still looking for the car, which has front end damage after leaving a part at the crash scene. Authorities believe that it is a 2004-08 Pacifica. No other details have been provided by the officials.
The incident remains under active review.
