Officials identified 64-year-old Inocencio Gomez who died after an auto-pedestrian crash in North Austin (Austin, TX)

Authorities identified 64-year-old Inocencio Gomez as the man who lost his life after struck by a vehicle last month in North Austin.

The fatal auto-pedestrian collision happened at about 9:41 p.m. in the 8600 block of North Lamar Blvd. on April 30th. The investigation reports showed that Inocencio Gomez was crossing the road when he was hit by a vehicle heading northbound on the road.

Gomez succumbed to his injuries as a result of the accident. No details have been released regarding the driver and their vehicle.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
