Authorities identified 62-year-old Charles Randy Bentley who died after a motorcycle crash in Augusta.

As per the initial information, traffic deputies actively responded to the area of a parking lot on the 2700 block of Mike Padgett Hwy. at about 1:30 p.m. on reports of a motorcycle accident. The Richmond County Coroner’s Office declared the bike rider deceased at the scene.

The coroner’s office has named the deceased as sixty-two-year-old Charles Randy Bentley, a resident of Ridge Spring, SC. It is unclear if any other vehicle was involved in the collision. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking into this crash.
