Officials identified 53-year-old David Misiak who died after a rollover crash on USA Parkway (Silver Springs, NV)

Authorities released the name of 53-year-old David Misiak, from Pahrump, who lost his life following a single-vehicle rollover accident on SR-439 in the Silver Springs area on last Wednesday night.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place a little before 8:45 p.m. on SR-439 (USA Parkway) near Lyon County mile marker 1. The preliminary investigation showed that David Misiak was driving a red 1994 Saturn S-series sedan south on SR-439 when he failed to maintain control of his car as a result of which the vehicle overturned.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, David Misiak succumbed to his injuries on the crash scene. Officials believe that impairment was involved in the accident. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
