Officials identified 47-year-old Quintance Daniels who died after a motorcycle crash in Gardena (Gardena, CA)

On Monday, authorities identified 47-year-old Quintance Daniels, of Duarte, as the man who lost his life following a head-on collision with a wrong-way motorist on a Gardena street.

As per the investigation reports, the fatal motorcycle crash was reported at 11:30 p.m. Saturday on Rosecrans Avenue at Kingsley Drive. The initial investigation showed that a black Jeep, driven by a female, was heading westbound on Rosecrans Avenue when she struck the center median near Kingsley Drive.

The reports further revealed that she kept on going westbound and into the oncoming eastbound lanes of traffic where she crashed head-on with a motorcycle heading eastbound. Daniels was declared deceased at the scene by the officials. Medics took the Jeep driver to Harbor General Hospital for evaluation. No other details are available.

The crash remains under investigation.
