Officials identified 46-year-old Clay Gerald Turner as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday in Tucson.
As per the initial information, the fatal car accident took place at Valencia and Palo Verde. Turner was driving a silver 2007 Chrysler Sebring eastbound on Valencia and tried to turn left to go northbound on Palo Verde Road. He turned in front of a black semi-truck that was traveling westbound on Valencia.
The truck crashed into the front passenger side of the Chrysler. The driver of the truck remained at the scene after the collision. Turner was not buckled up and failed to yield when turning. It is unlikely that any citations or charges will be issued. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
